AmaWaterways has introduced their new ship, the MS AmaVerde. AmaVerde will be available for cruises beginning in October 2011, and 14-night “Magnificent Europe” itineraries from Amsterdam to Budapest are available for reservations now.
This luxurious custom built ship (featuring large staterooms and suites ranging from 170 to 350 square feet) and amenities such as as flat-panel TVs, plush terry robes and slippers and marble-appointed bathrooms with multi-jet shower heads. She is a sister ship to the MS AmaBella, and also incorporates a French Balcony for unrestricted views and fresh air, plus a full-size balcony that enables passengers to experience the river from the privacy of their stateroom.
AmaWaterways, with its customary attention to detail has also included a fireside library; Observation Lounge; 24-hour specialty coffee and tea station; fitness center and sauna; massage, hair and beauty salon; elevator; heated swimming pool on the Sun Deck. Passengers will also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the vessel.
The dining options on board AmaVerde include offers four distinctive restaurants; savor fine dining in the main restaurant or authentic Italian fare in the Bella Cucina restaurant, private dining is available in the Wine Room, and the intimate Erlebnis Chef’s Table restaurant offers a private chef special tasting menu. The ship also features an “Early Riser’s” breakfast, light lunch and late night snack in the Main Lounge plus Sun Deck dining on select days.
