FIAT Escorts MSC Divinia into Miami

In a fun and unusual display in Miami this week, MSC’s Divinia was escorted into the port by a fleet of high-powered FIAT personal watercraft. The Divinia arrived after completing an 18 night Atlantic crossing, departing from Venice, and becomes the MSC Cruises ship to sail year-round from North America.

The Divinia also transported a Rosso Brillante (metallic red) Fiat 500 (known as Cinquecento in Italy) bringing Italian style and technology across the seas to the American market.

Guests who travel aboard the MSC Divina will experience two unique dining venues, as the line has partnered with Italian restaurant emporium Eataly in Manhattan, New York. The ship features both the posh Ristorante Italia and the impressive Eataly Steakhouse. Eataly was founded by Oscar Farinetti in 2007 and launched in the U.S. in partnership with celebrity chefs Mario Batali and Lidia and Joe Bastianich.

Cruisers can also experience Aqua Cycling at sea, this summer’s latest fitness craze, mentioned on Good Morning America and in the New York Times and Time Magazine. The MSC Divina will also feature the MSC Yacht Club, which is a “ship-within-a-ship” concept, available guests traveling in the Caribbean for guests and looking for unparalleled indulgence, luxury and comfort.

MSC Yacht Club guests have access to a personal butler, 24-hour concierge service and complimentary select wines and spirits available any time of the day. They also enjoy several private venues, including Le Muse panoramic restaurant, Top Sail Lounge, pool and relaxation area – as well as private access to the MSC Aurea Spa.
